Recently, Aerospace Engineering Equipment (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. (AEE) has successfully completed the manufacturing of two sets of circumferential seam and assembly welding equipment for rocket fuel tanks commissioned by a client in the commercial aerospace sector. The equipment has passed final assembly, commissioning and acceptance inspection.

Capable of full welding of integral fuel tanks with a high level of automation, the equipment supports mass production and meets the requirements of commercial aerospace for high-frequency and low-cost fuel tank manufacturing. Meanwhile, AEE helped the client tackle technical challenges concerning weld gap precision and narrow gap weld tracking, which greatly improved welding efficiency.

Applied to the production of reusable rocket fuel tanks, the equipment cuts down rocket manufacturing and launch costs, and enhances the rockets' high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and reusability. The successful development of this equipment serves as an excellent benchmark and demonstration for the advancement and application of future commercial aerospace projects. It will also inject new impetus into the development of China's commercial aerospace industry and drive continuous progress and innovation of aerospace technologies.
