The 9th International Conference on Welding Science and Engineering (WSE) was held in Harbin from July 24 to 27, 2023. As an invited participant, Aerospace Engineering Equipment (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. (AEE) delivered a keynote speech and exchanged views with senior experts, scholars and engineers on the latest advances in welding science and engineering.

About WSE 2023

Co-hosted by the State Key Laboratory of Advanced Welding and Joining of Harbin Institute of Technology, Shanghai Key Laboratory of Laser Manufacturing and Modification of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and the Welding Institution of China Mechanical Engineering Society, the conference themed Latest Advances in Welding Science and Engineering. It aims to boost scientific research and engineering application of welding and joining technologies, and build a communication platform for researchers and industrial practitioners.

AEE Keynote Speech

Ms. Xu Xiaoxia, General Manager of AEE Friction Stir Welding Division, presented a keynote speech titled Current Status and Prospect of High-efficiency and High-performance Solid-state Additive Friction Stir Welding Technology at the Additive Manufacturing Session. She introduced the latest R&D progress of AEE’s Additive Friction Stir Deposition (AFSD) technology and corresponding equipment, shared technological achievements with texts, images and videos, and forecasted the future development of the technology.

While focusing on friction stir welding, AEE keeps exploring cutting-edge welding technologies and launching new products and solutions.
